WHY WE CHOOSE TO BE STUPID AND CRAZY?

Religion is a belief system in the supernatural, invisible, delusional faith in something beyond rationality that we somehow cling to and hope will reward us in the afterlife. We have heard a million times how God loves us and has prepared some sort of rewards for us after we die, from the Beatific Vision, to the virgins for great sex, to the happy hunting grounds, all these delusional beliefs are preached about in different houses of prayer, and that is ok, if people like to be entertained like that, and if that makes them happy. Who am I to argue against you being happy?
The only problem is that the religions in America have tax exempt status. This means that while they practice their selected delusions, we the people support these delusional houses of worship.
This unfair extra tax on non believers can be tolerated to a point by us being good neighbors to our delusional thinkers, but there is a line drawn in the sand that the believers must not cross. This line is one that says, you will not preach to kill infidels, gays, burn witches, do human sacrifice, tell us who to marry, and stop stem cell research and if you cross this line in the sand we will not support you with our extra tax burden. Here is my whole point of the American secular society choosing to be stupid and crazy in having to support the Islamic Mosque that launched the Orlando killer.
To be fair we should not support any delusional church or mosque, if people want to believe anything they should be able to do it, but do not ask me to pay for their delusions, and any house of prayer that urges their members to kill anyone in their scriptures should be closed down and the scriptures disclaimed and changed.
