10/28/2015 Martin Shkreli, “The Perfect Capitalist”.
The conservative capitalists, the Republicans, think there is nothing wrong with 4 hedge fund managers making 10 billion dollars in 2013, while all the kindergarten teachers, 158,000 of them make only 8 billion for that year. The capitalists think this is a great example of entrepreneurship shown by the hedge fund managers. The capitalists think there is some invisible, economic law that is based on some morality or the American system that allows certain people to hog all the wealth because they can.
We can look at the history of the robber barons and how they exploited the workers until the unions kicked them in the butt. If not for the unions our grandfathers, fathers and us would be working in the unsafe coal mines for 5 cents an hour 6 days per week with no health care or safety conditions, that was true capitalism without any socialist interference.
I would like to present a great example of a human maggot, hedge fund director, Martin Shkreli, a true capitalist, and his Valeant Pharmaceutical Co., a real capitalist enterprise.. His company bought up rights to a drug called, Duraprim, then proceeded to raise the price from $13.50 a pill to $750.00 a pill. (It used to cost $1.00 a pill.) Duraprim is often the last hope for cancer patients and others with weak immune systems suffering from parasitic infections. Is there anyone that thinks this is ok?
So…if Martin Shkreli is your example of great capitalism then that leaves people like me no alternative but to organize and change the system that will then eradicate maggots like that.
If you play a game board game like Monopoly and during the game the winning players have enough money to start changing the rules of the game than it is up to the other players to stop the game. I believe it is time to fix the broken systems in America. So…is anyone surprised about the success of Bernie and Trump, the two big change artists?
