CHURCH AND STATE SEPARATION—WHAT A PRECIOUS GIFT TO US
By Valentine Krumplis May 26, 2016
It is truly interesting how the religious people complain about baking cakes for gay people, issuing marriage licenses for same sex couples, and hundreds of things that somehow transgress on their delusional religious beliefs.
These religious zealots are constantly in your face complaining about stem cell research, abortions, buying beer on Sunday and on and on.
The rest of try to figure out ways to please them by changing the laws to maybe partially accommodate them, maybe eliminate some stem cell studies, limit abortions, we try to make them happy in our political system.
I believe we should reprimand them for trying to push their religious beliefs on our legal system. We should tell them not to have abortions or use drugs developed by stem cell research if that is their religious belief, but leave the rest of us make our own choices.
We should remind the religious communities that all of them claim the non for profit tax status and therefore have absolutely no right to be politicking. The IRS is not investigating the religious entities who are politicking and that gives them courage to push their delusional religious beliefs on our legal system.
We can see how religious politicking, the evangelists have destroyed our Republican Party by inserting their religious dogmatic platforms and alienating huge groups of thinking people. Just take a look at our Republican Party today.
If we want to look at more problems about religion in America we can look at the many tax exemptions that religious entities get from our government. When they pay no tax we pay more taxes and that is completely unfair, we end up supporting the delusions, superstitions, and fantasies of religious beliefs. A great example would be supporting a Muslim Wahabi Mosque that preaches hate and murder of non believers. Another example would be Christ the Scientist Church, they do not believe in medical treatments. Another great example would be supporting the Pastafarian Religion, they worship the Flying Spaghetty monster as a God.
So…we should not support any delusional religious belief with our taxes, let them pay for their own belief systems and their houses of worship, leave us alone, we are the nones (non religious), the atheists, agnostics we do not want to pay for your delusions so you could continue clouding the minds of humanity with you delusional fantasies.
So…support “Americans United for separation of church and state”
